Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Displays engine RPM, vacuum advance and retard degrees. Digital tach functions eliminate the need for a separate meter. Large LCD display is easy to read even in direct sunlight. For most 12 volt gasoline powered engines, and domestic & import vehicles equipped with conventional breaker point and electronic ignition systems.

The product is great when it works,I bought two and both have stopped working with in approx. 1 year.

5 out of 5 stars Great value!   November 15, 2007

You can't beat this timing light for the price. Bright light and the LCD display/functions are all any do-it-yourselfer needs. The Tachometer alone was worth it for me since my older vehicle don't have tachs and you need rpm data for accurate timing and fuel mixture tuning.

I've only use the timing light once since purchase, but I'm very please with performance and features.

I've bought this item for my Volkswagen G60 engine.
It's very easy to use and comes in a solid package.
The buttons are solid and the display is good. It displays rpm and the pre-ignition.

5 stars for this awesome product!

I've had one of these things for a couple of years and in that time I've used it probably a half-dozen times. I just went to use it again and it died. The idea is so solid that I'm going to buy another one to see what happens - but for $80-90, which is what they sell for, I suppose you can't expect much. Others in our club have these and swear by them - so perhaps I just got a bad one. We shall see.
