Product Description Features: A metal pipe is inserted into the exhaust pipe and is retained in position by metal springs which press against the inside of the exhaust pipe. This exhaust probe is connected to the Gastester unit by a plastic pipe to directly sample the exhaust gases. Accurate and reliable "CO" readings are displayed on a large digital display, making Gastester ideal for checking emissions before inspection. Additionally Gastester allows you to set the air/fuel mixture for both performance and economy. Though primarily intended for multi-cylinder car engines the Gastester may be used on motorcycles and other engines including single cylinder engines. Some adaptation may be required to fit the exhaust probe into the exhaust pipe of some motorcycles. • The Gastester is not suitable for use on two-stroke engines. • The Gastester has an accuracy of +/- 0.5% CO typical throughout the indicated range 0.5% CO to 6.5% CO.
