I ordered this multimeter to replace my old analog meter that I can never find when I need it. The sleeve on the new one is red and stands out. The readout is large and much more accurate than my old one. I like that the leads plug into the end of the unit rather than the top. I'm very happy with this product, and the price was very reasonable.

So far, this thing seems to be working fine. I used it to check the current in a standard 120V line and it read it with just a slight deviation. This will be fine for basic electrical needs, like testing voltage and resistance, but I wouldn't bet on this thing to be accurate in situations where precision is important.
I like how it fits in the palm of your hand.
The "holster" is the rubber casing that surrounds the hard black plastic body of the meter. You have to remove this casing to get to the battery and fuse compartments. Wasn't difficult, but it took a little while to figure out that it could be removed.
Mine was shipped from the "Amazon Returns Center. " That can't be good. It didn't look used, but who knows?

I am new to electronics and this is my first DMM - but it has done everyting I have needed it for so far, including testing for specific DC currents and diode tests (for repair of a pinball machine). I have never used another DMM, so I have nothing to compare to, but with my limited experience, this was a great deal! I held off a full five star rating because it came with basically no documentation.
